ZTE’s sub brand Nubia teased a new wearable smartphone at IFA 2018 in Berlin today. The device is called Nubia-α and it calls the world’s most advanced wearable smartphone. You can check out the official teaser for the Nubia-α below which is looks pretty much like a concept but it’s not. According to the company, Nubia-α will be released for the consumers around as early as next quarter.
As you can see in above teaser video, Nubia-α sports a vertical flexible OLED display that wraps around your hand, 4G LTE cellular connectivity, WiFi, Bluetooth, even has camera and microphone next to the display probably for making video calls. There are also several apps you can seen in the teaser video including Contacts, Music player, Phone dialer, Widgets, Activity tracker etc..,
On the back of the band, it is comes with magnetic pins for charging and a heart rate sensor. The company is already showing the Nubia-α concept in the IFA.
