FiiO, a Chinese electronics company launched the M3K Portable High-Resolution Lossless Music Player in India. FiiO M3K is sports a 2.0-inch IPS screen and feature a seamless, all-aluminum unibody construction with tempered glass that makes it very solid device. It is powered by the Ingenic X1000E processor which provides high performance but with low power consumption. The company ensures that with the M3K you get a smooth and better battery life compare to other music players.
It uses the AKM AK4376A, a well-received DAC that is capable of decoding up to 384kHz/32-bit audio with a remark- ably low noise floor, allowing you to hear the music as if you were at the recording session itself. M3K packs 1100mAh battery in which the company claims that the battery life of up to 24 hours and standby time up to 38 days. That means if you listen 3.5 hours every day, the M3K can go for a whopping 1 week before needing to be charged again.
The M3K has a set of capacitive buttons and touchpad for operations compare to the simpler physical buttons in company’s last generation device. There are five sets of touch buttons to make getting around the UI easy: next/previous track, confirmation, back, and menu keys. The touch buttons are also backlit to enhance usability in dark areas and make it easier to use when the screen is off.
It also has a high quality microphone in which you can record audio whenever you want, wherever you want. M3K feature a new AB functionality allows you to compare and repeat between two different tracks as many times as you like, allowing you to get a handle on any differences.
It supports micro-SD cards for storage expansion, up to a massive 2TB and also supports file transfers with USB OTG-compatible devices. As for the pricing, FiiO M3K is launched at the price of Rs. 6,990, but it is available for order at fiio.co.in for as low as Rs. 5,900. It will also be available across the leading online & retail stores starting from 17th September.
