A couple of months ago, Xiaomi launched their 2018’s flagship smartphone Mi 8 along with Mi 8 Explorer edition and Mi 8 SE smartphones in China. A few days ago, Xiaomi officially confirmed to hold a new product launch in Chengdu on September 19th. In the event, Xiaomi is expected to announce Mi 8 Youth Edition – another smartphone to the already existing Mi 8 series. Ahead of the announcement, a report from China has revealed the color options of the upcoming smartphone which include the glass back with the shade of pink to orange gradient design dubbed as Twilight Gold as well as several other color options on the TENAA listing include black, white, blue, red, rose gold and so on.

As per the leaks, the phone comes with 6.26-inch Full HD+ (2280 x 1080) 19:9 aspect ratio display, powered by an 10nm 2.2GHz Octa-Core Snapdragon 710 processor with Adreno 616 GPU, has 4/6/8 GB of RAM with 32/64/128 GB of internal storage with microsd expansion upto 256GB. It is expected to run on MIUI 10 based on Android 8.1 (Oreo).
In the camera department, there is a dual 12-megapixel cameras on the rear with support of recording videos up to 4K Ultra HD resolution. In the front, its packs massive 24MP camera for selfies. The phone features fingerprint sensor at the rear as well as expected to support for face unlock. It comes with 3250 mAh battery with support for Quick Charge 3.0. In terms of dimensions, the TENAA listing had revealed that it measures 156.4 x 75.8 x 7.5mm and weighs 169 grams.

As per the rumor, the phone starts at 1,999 yuan (US$ 290 / Rs. 21,000 approx.) but we highly doubt the pricing of 1,999 yuan for 32GB storage. We will know more about the Xiaomi Mi 8 Youth Edition once it goes official on September 19th.
